Hello, we’re playing cheltenham jazz festival on monday 6th may with roller trio if you would like to come

we’ve been lying low a bit this year as we’ve been rehearsing the music that is going to be our new album

rather than add tunes bit by bit, gig by gig to our existing music i felt this time i wanted to take some time and then come back playing a whole new set

has been so fun rehearsing and playing our new music,

i love playing with my band so much and alot of new tunes seem to be coming out of me recently

am really looking forward alot to creating our new album

i hope you will like it when it appears

So the last one in the takeaway series was recorded with the master of sound, Brian Eno. It’s a song about the area I(seb) live in. Hope you enjoy it.

The single also features Underworld’s Karl Hyde and a remix from Polar Bear’s Tom Herbert.

Has been an amazing experience making these tracks every month, sharing creative time with so many people I admire and love as people.

I’m grateful to The Leaf Label for their support and patience with me and to john for mastering all the tracks.

I’m excited to say that all 12 singles will be available on a 24-track, double CD next March. More news soon…

hope you had a fun summer,this email is just to say that im excited we gonna playing some polar bear shows also playing our new music that we hope to put on album next year.

we are playing three dates if you would like to hear them before we record…

7th november – Bristol old vic with hauschka feat. samuli kosminen

21st november – The Sage in gateshead with the master jack dejohnettes band

15th december – Rich Mix in london

it is also our first proper show in london for over a year! so hope it is gonna be a special night playing our new creations  we havent played many new tunes recently so am very excited to do this and hope you can come so we can share with you

hello,am excited that the next single is coming out on 24th february with one of my favourite musicians leo abrahams

we started this track by using a machine leo took round called the luminist garden,is like a little garden made of wires that reacts when you run your fingers through it or play some sound on it

then we got on some other instruments

we also have have a remix that i like alot from my friend pete wareham

hello,this year im gonna be putting out a track every month collaborating with different people
is gonna be called days and nights at the takeaway since all the tracks are being made in an ex takeaway
the first one is with spoken word poet from l.a gina loring and london vocalist ranjana ghatak and comes out on 27th january on bandcamp,The Leaf Label and juno and everywhere else from 31st
